[2023 Summer] Studio Cube & Pottery Experience Field Trip (June. 9th)

Dear KDI School Students,

We are delighted to inform you that our next field trip for the 2023 Summer semester will be at Daejeon Studio Cube & Pottery Experience. Studio Cube, located in the EXPO Science Park in Daejeon, is a public filming infrastructure established by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency in 2017. Its purpose is to make the country's broadcast-video content industry more competitive and advanced. (Most of the game scenes from Netflix's 'Squid Game', such as tug of war, making dalgona, and playing marbles, were also filmed here :) Additionally, we will be having a 2-hour pottery class. Pottery offers relaxing effects due to its rhythmic and slow movements during the process. Under the guidance of an experienced artisan, you will learn the hand-building technique and create your own unique piece.  

We believe that this field trip will provide a great opportunity to experience Korea's government support for the broadcasting industry in nurturing the next 'Squid Game' in the birth of global K-content, and also enjoy a moment of healing through our pottery experience.

- Date & Time: June 9(Fri.), 09:20 – 17:00

- Venue: (Daejeon) Studio Cube, Hanulkang Atelier

- Participants: Up to 25 international students* 

* Up to 3-4 students for each country will be allowed to participate in the field trip to ensure an equal share of the limited seats for the field trip.

- Participation fee: free of charge

- Remarks

1) Those who have not completed PCR and RAT tests are NOT allowed to participate in this event

2) A penalty fee of 20,000 KRW will be charged for no-show on the day

3) RSVP on MIS: Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

* Cancellation must be made by June 5(Mon.)

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click on ‘[2023 Summer] Studio Cube & Pottery Experience Field Trip (June. 9th)’

6. 1) Please write a comment on MIS if you have any food restrictions(halal, vegetarian, etc.)

2) Click the ‘Save’ button

7. To confirm your application, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event
