At 7th July, the first Iraqi alumni meeting was held in Erbil, Iraq. Alumni working in various fields such as government ministries, diplomatic offices, and international organizations, as well as Lim Seung-chul, consul general of the Erbil branch of the Korean Embassy in Iraq, attended and shone.

Associate Dean of KDIS, Lee Jin-soo's welcome speech and congratulations on the establishment of the Iraqi alumni association, Consul General Lim Seung-chul's congratulatory speech, alumni president Redar Amjed Abdlsalam(2013 MDP)'s remarks on his election and his future aspirations.

They had a time to introduce the attending alumni and share updates with each other.

In particular, the Consul General Lim Seung-chul suggested ways to contribute to enhancing friendly relations between Korea and Iraq through regular meetings and cooperation of the KDIS alumni association.

Through the opening of the Alumni Association, we look forward to delivering more good news about the active exchange and cooperation activities of the Iraqi Alumni Association and their achievements in the future!
