Roque Luiz Wandenkolk (2013 MDP), the representative for Brazilian Alumni Association participated in "Korea Day," (Mar. 18, 2023) a Korean cultural event held in Rio de Janeiro. The following is the message from Mr. Wandenkolk :

「During this event, various aspects of Korean culture were presented, such as Korean music, dance, K-POP, dramas, Korean writing, and art, and people also had the opportunity to experience traditional Korean clothes, Korean cuisine, and a restaurant service with traditional foods.

It was a great opportunity for people in Brazil to learn about and admire South Korean culture, make new friends, and experience the Korean language. Korean culture generates a lot of interest in Brazil and it has been increasing among young people in schools, as well as adults.

The event was held in a school in Rio de Janeiro and brought together approximately two hundred people to celebrate peace, joy, culture, and the Christian message, thanks to support from volunteers from the International Youth Fellowship (IYF), Koreans, and Brazilians.」
