KDI School of Public Policy and Management signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea-Africa Foundation on June 5 to promote cooperation and exchange in the fields of policy and development. Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to pursue a range of collaborative initiatives, including joint research on Korea-Africa policy and development, academic events, expert network building, and expanded personnel exchanges.

To date, KDI School has produced 887 alumni from 40 African countries, with 53 African students currently enrolled. The African Development Forum (ADF), the school's on-campus African student forum, plays a central role in the African student community by leading development policy seminars, Africa Day commemorations, freshman mentoring programs, and Korea-Africa cooperation roundtables.

KDI School plans to use this MOU as an opportunity to further strengthen its policy education and research cooperation with the African region, and to expand its role as a global policy network hub connecting Korea and Africa.

KDI국제정책대학원은 6월 5일 한·아프리카재단과 정책·개발 분야 협력 및 교류 증진을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다. 이번 협약을 통해 양 기관은 한-아프리카 정책·개발 분야 공동연구, 학술행사 개최, 전문가 네트워크 구축, 인적교류 확대 등 다양한 협력사업을 추진할 예정이다.

KDI국제정책대학원은 현재까지 아프리카 40개국 출신 동문 887명을 배출했으며, 53명의 아프리카 재학생이 재학 중이다. 또한 교내 아프리카 학생 포럼인 African Development Forum(ADF)은 개발정책 세미나, 아프리카의 날 기념행사, 신입생 멘토링 프로그램, 한국-아프리카 협력 간담회 등을 주도하며 아프리카 학생사회의 구심점 역할을 수행하고 있다.

KDI국제정책대학원은 이번 협약을 계기로 아프리카 지역과의 정책교육·연구 협력을 더욱 강화하고, 한국과 아프리카를 연결하는 글로벌 정책 네트워크 허브로서의 역할을 확대해 나갈 계획이다.
