Professor Jeong Yeol Kim presented on the topic "AI and Collusion under Antitrust Policy" at the AI Special Session of the 2025 Joint Economics Conference, organized by the Korean Economic Association. This study is an interdisciplinary collaboration between economics and data science, conducted jointly with Professor Jaehyuk Park and data scientist Seungback Shin. The research is currently ongoing and aims to experimentally examine whether AI-based algorithmic pricing leads to collusive pricing outcomes in the presence of competition authority regulations.
