Professor Jongyearn Lee's paper published in Korea Real Estate Review won the Best Paper Award (1st Prize) in February 2025. His paper entitled "Determinants of the Durations of Reconstruction Project Stages: A Case of Southeast Seoul" used a nonparametric approach and a semi-parametric estimation method of survival analysis to analyze the characteristics of and factors affecting the time required for each stage of reconstruction projects in Southeast Seoul over the past 20 years. The study suggested that relevant policies need to be reviewed and improved.
