KDI School of Public Policy and Management will host 『Global Issues Seminar-2007 Spring Series』 from April 5th to June 21st at the KDI School, in collaboration with the World Bank. World Bank experts with extensive experience in dealing with issues such as international trade, conflict, and health will lead the seminar.

The purpose of the seminar series is to promote better understanding on global issues among undergraduate and graduate students of the social sciences, international development, public policy & business and international studies. Students will be able to interact with universities in Canada, Australia, Japan, the United States, Sri Lanka and other Asia-Pacific countries through videoconference. Students from local universities will be able to participate in the live sessions by coming to KDI School of Public Policy and Management.

When the school hosted the seminar in 2006, participants expressed their satisfaction with the certificate of completion that is awarded to all participants. When asked what their opinion of the seminar was, some participants acknowledged the use of state-of-the-art technology as contributing to a truly global seminar, while others were impressed by the issues and questions that arose throughout the seminar.
