Class President : AHN, Byeongju

After working for the Ministry of Planning and Budget for the last 15 years, Mr. Ahn began attending the KDI School in order to expand academic knowledge and deepen his insights for the aim of becoming a better public official.

As class representative, Mr. Ahn expresses his enthusiasm in running a dynamic student committee that will be attentive to student needs and support them in practical ways. He also wishes to become a big brother figure to his classmates and would like to reach out to each of them.

Mr.Ahn’s personal record of finishing first 4 times in a full-time marathon course is more than impressive. We expect him to guide the student body with the passion and patience that enabled him to reap such outstanding results.

GLP: Kwon, Tae Bong

Determined to take a leap forward in becoming a leader and also to initiate a turning point in his life, Mr. Kwon began attending the KDI School. As class representative, Mr. Kwon seeks to be a messenger among his class, so that clear communication and interaction take place within the student body. When asked if he had any last words, Mr. Kwon wished his classmates good luck and a high five to all.

MFDI:   Kim, Kyoung  Mi

Ms. Kim, an IT expert, has already applied her skills to practice as class representative: She recently opened an online community for her classmates. This virtual community will be used to share information and also give a personal look into each of their lives in order to enhance their strength as a group. Having said this, there are high expectations for a vibrant and interactive MFDI student population both online and offline.

MPP: Yang, Dong su

If you need any legal advice or recommendations in Korea, do not hesitate to come and talk to Mr. Yang. As the patrol captain at the National Police Agency of the Southern District in Suwon City, Mr. Yang has also been an expert in the international police field for seven years. As student representative, Mr. Yang says he is ready to serve his classmates with his moral strength and charisma.

MBA: Cha, Tae Kyung

Mr. Cha is the captain of an infantry office and has worked as a special warfare commander for 2 years. As his experience tells us, he is as athletic as he is active in the workforce. Thus it does not come as a surprise that he also serves as the president of the KDI School Taekwondo club this year. We expect that he will be a true ''vitamin'' to his classmates, motivating them to constantly develop themselves, inside and outside of the classroom.

Internatonal: KHUAT, Van Thi Kieu

Ms. Van has come to study at the KDI School with the goal of becoming a policy maker in the State Securities Commission in Vietnam. This passionate student warmly encourages all international students to visit her at anytime to share their needs or problems while staying at KDI. Her strong enthusiasm and affection will undoubtedly be a source of strength and inspiration to her fellow students.

MAM: Lee, Eun Kyung

Ms. Lee is the youngest of her classmates, but firmly believes that her age will not be a barrier as she takes the role of class representative. Her promise to dedicate herself in supporting her classmates with an open mind is one based on determination which is reflective of her passion and enthusiasm.

E- MBA: CHUNG, Jae-yeon

Since E-MBA students have a double burden of having to work and study at the same time, Ms. Chung acknowledges that there are difficulties that follow such a tight schedule. Because of this, she wishes to provide ways to alleviate some of her classmates’ burden by building a strong human network that will allow them to share concerns and encourage one another.
