During the spring break, students of KDI School have visited the 4th World Ceramic Biennale 2007. Located at Yeoju, a major production center of Korean ceramic livingware, the world exhibition dedicates to the display of trends in world ceramics design and the beauty of ceramics used in everyday life.

Made up to hundreds of ceramics from various cultures and regions, this unique exhibition provides audio and visual aspects as well as learning. The center hosts many exhibitions and activities that highlight the development of the ceramic culture. On top of that, it is also an avenue to help promote understanding of artists’ cultures from around the world. The most memorable thing of the day was when students learned about how to make ceramics. They also had a chance to make their own flower pot or cup at the Toya Ceramic Experience Studio.

After having visited the 19th Yeoju Ceramic Exposition, students had a tour at the Siemens Automotive Line.
