Final Report Workshop and Policy Practitioner Workshop

The KDI and Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD) held the Final Reporting Workshop and Policy Practitioner Workshop as part of the Knowledge Program on the Dominican Republic´s export development on September 29 in a conference room at the KDI.

The workshop began with opening remarks from Dr. Jung-Taik Hyun, the President of the KDI. The opening remarks were followed by presentations and discussions on export development.

The workshop looked into subject matters such as progress reports on KSP Dominican Republic, export promotion and industrial policy, export development in the Dominican Republic, industry-level analysis and policy recommendations, issues and policy suggestions for human resource development in the Dominican Republic, export financing in the Dominican Republic, attracting FDI into the Dominican Republic and Korean economic development and KOTRA.
