The KDI School of Public Policy and Management recently hosted its highly anticipated Talent Show, marking the 11th edition of the annual Song and Dance Festival. Renamed as the KDIS Talent Show, this magnificent event aimed to celebrate and showcase the diverse talents of the students, faculty, and staff, while fostering a spirit of unity and cultural appreciation.
On Friday, July 14, the conference hall on the 6th floor of the Central Building underwent a breathtaking transformation into a captivating space that embodied the theme of ‘the universe’. The venue became a visual spectacle, immersing attendees in a mesmerizing cosmic atmosphere adorned with enchanting decorations and captivating photo zones.
The Talent Show featured fifteen exceptional teams, meticulously selected through a rigorous audition process. These talented individuals devoted weeks to intensive preparation, pouring their hearts and souls into creating awe-inspiring performances. The showcase encompassed a wide range of talents, including traditional acts, soulful singing, electrifying dance routines, harmonious group performances, and dazzling musicals. Each team demonstrated extraordinary skill, creativity, and passion, leaving the audience in awe of their exceptional abilities.
The event was further elevated with two special guest performances by seasoned artists, who added an extra touch of professionalism and excitement to the already vibrant evening.
To ensure that participants and attendees had an unforgettable experience, the organizers left no stone unturned. A sumptuous catering service was provided, offering a delectable array of refreshments that tantalized taste buds and delighted senses throughout the event, making it an indulgent feast for all.

In recognition of their remarkable contributions, the Student Affairs Division crafted personalized letters, expressing gratitude and acknowledging each participant's unique and valuable contribution. From The Jody's mesmerizing band performance and Akmaral's remarkable vocal prowess, to Silk Road Shimmies' captivating dance routines and Educator's dynamic stage presence, every act left an indelible mark on the hearts of the audience.
Special mentions go to Fusion Flex, whose vibrant and energetic dance medley enthralled the crowd, Aya Ahmed's mesmerizing fusion belly dance, and the scintillating K-pop girl group performance by Hot K-pop Boy, representing the MPPM program.
The Talent Show reached its crescendo with a breathtaking finale by 3 Stars, A Sun, And Beyond, who flawlessly blended Filipino traditional dance with the infectious energy of K-pop. Their captivating performance left the audience spellbound, as they witnessed the seamless fusion of two distinct cultures into a breathtaking display of artistry.
