[Student Affairs] 2013 Club Open

 

Launch a New Student Club

 

Club application for 2013 Spring Semester is now open. Via student clubs the School aims to provide students with ample opportunities to affiliate with other students through various social, academic and/or athletic activities. Students are invited to organize and get involved in one or more of the student clubs as they desire, and enjoy opportunities to meet and interact with fellow students. Registered clubs will receive financial support from the School. Please read the instructions below for details.

 

For those who have already opened the club in last Fall semester(2012) should RE-register the club registration form to continue your club since the year is now changed. We at the Student Affairs Division will give you the priority and save the spot until the deadline of 2013.2.15(Fri). Please let us know immediately. If your activity plan is not ready, at least let us know that you have an intention to continue the club in this new semester.

 

1. How many clubs can be approved?

- 15 clubs will be chosen after we review your application package.

 

 

2. What are the requirements to establish a club?

- A club should have more than 10 members including 1 faculty advisor.

- It is recommended to have members of various backgrounds.

- A club should submit a 2013 activity plan.

- It is recommended that a club should arrange 3 activities per semester.

 

 

3. How does financial support work?

- Financial support eligibility will be determined after reviewing each club’s activity plans.

- After review the KDI School will support a maximum of KRW 200,000 at the end of every semester.

- The club representative should submit club activity report including financial details and receipts, to be allotted supporting budget from the school.

- A club should share all activity plans and results (pictures, reports etc.) not only with club members but with all school members by posting it on the “Club Board” of the KDI School website to be eligible for financial support.

- A club should open its activities to all school members to encourage participation of non-club members.

 

 

4. When is the application period?

- The application should be submitted by Feb 17th (Sun)

1) Visit “www.kdischool.ac.kr”

2) Click Members under KDI School Service

3) Log on using your ID and password

4) Click Official Forms on the left side, below Transcripts & Certificates

5) Scroll down to Others and click Student Club Registration Form for download

* Please note that there are two sheets in the downloaded excel file: Student Club Registration Form and Student Club Members Registration.
