Launch a New Student Club

  Club application for 2011 Spring Semester is now open. Via student clubs the School aims to provide students with ample opportunities to affiliate with other students through various social, academic and/or athletic activities. Students are invited to organize and get involved in one or more of the student clubs as they desire, and enjoy opportunities to meet and interact with fellow students. Registered clubs will receive financial support from the School. Please read the instructions below for details.   1. How many clubs can be approved?   Ø 9 clubs will be chosen after we review your application package. Examples of Club 2010: Debate Club, Fundraising Club, Taekwondo & Sports Club, Marathon and Mountain Climbing Club, Table Tennis Club, etc. 1 club from 2010 Fall Semester remain available to join in. See the table below. Club Name Representative E-mail Address DSLR Club Lee Hoo-Kyung coolpasart@hotmail.com   2. What are the requirements to establish a club?   Ø A club should have more than 10 members including 1 faculty advisor. Ø It is recommended to have members of various backgrounds. Ø A club should submit a 2011 activity plan. Ø It is recommended that a club should arrange 3 activities per semester.   3. How does financial support work?   Ø Financial support eligibility will be determined after reviewing each club’s activity plans. Ø After review the KDI School will support a maximum of KRW 200,000 at the end of every semester. Ø The club representative should submit club activity report including financial details and receipts, to be allotted supporting budget from the school. Ø A club should share all activity plans and results (pictures, reports etc.) not only with club members but with all school members by posting it on the “Club Board” of the KDI School website to be eligible for financial support. Ø A club should open its activities to all school members to encourage participation of non-club members.   4. When is the application period?
