Ethical Commitment and Corporate Financial Factors: A Survey Study of Korean Companies


-Abstract

To date, a variety of stakeholders including investors, corporate managers, customers, suppliers, employees, researchers, and government policy makers have been interested in the relationship between ethics and profits. In a same vein, during last decade business ethics and corporate valuation have received great attention in Korea. However, the linkage between corporation’s financial performance and its commitment to business ethics has rarely investigated. Thus, this paper speculates the relation between corporate business ethics and corporate financial performance.
