MOU Signing Ceremony
between KDI School and Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS
The KDI School held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony in Ambassador Hall on April 26, 2006. This event was arranged to celebrate the new partnership between the KDI School and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore (LKY SPP).
Under the MOU, the KDI School and the LKY SPP can officially exchange students and researchers. The proposed student exchange program is for the Master in Public Policy (MPP), and the Master in Public Administration (MPA). Additionally, each institution may receive scholars and researchers of the other to teach courses, engage in joint or individual research, and/or lead seminars.
The LKY SPP was formally launched in 2004 and built on the programs run by the National University of Singapore. Currently, the Lee Kuan Yew School confers three Master degrees: Master in Public Policy; Master in Public Administration: and Master in Public Management.
The KDI School and the LKY SPP continuously advance their roles as premier schools of public policy of international reputation. The new MOU further boosts their capabilities as centers of excellence for academic study and research in public policy, especially for the public policy in Asian societies.
