KDI School ranked 1st amongst Korean business schools
in SSRN Rankings

The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) recently released their overall rankings for business schools worldwide. These current rankings place the KDI School as 1st for all business schools in Korea, and 6th overall for all schools in Asia, and 38th in overall non-US International Business Schools.

Rankings were calculated from the results of the total new downloads for all uploaded academic research in SSRN for the last 12 months. Rankings are seen as extensions of the academic community’s sentiment on the quality of the research of each institution. The highest ranked non-US International Business School was the University of London. This list included schools such as Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and National University of Singapore among Asian business schools.

The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is a world wide collaborative of leading scholars devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research. It is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences, reaching over 35,000 people in approximately 70 different countries. Since their inception, SSRN rankings have indicated a level of public and academic trust as results come from professors and researchers at large.

Once little known to these rankings, schools in Asia continue to take large strides forward. The KDI School attributes their ranking to the caliber of the professors they have strategically recruited. Not satisfied to rest on their laurels, the KDI School plans to continuously build upon the base it has already established.
