REPORTERS WANTED Take part in publishing The Globe, the KDI School newsletter! Each semester, the KDI School publishes The Globe, an informative and innovative channel through which students, faculty, staff, and alumni are able to stay connected with each other and stay on top of the news around campus.
The KDI School is currently recruiting creative and enthusiastic students to assist in producing The Globe 2011.
Number of reporters needed: 3 Job Description:
Students will be required to participate in various school events to collect writing material. They are expected to work with the Globe staff and contact appropriate offices and people in order to obtain necessary information, as well as take photographs when needs be. Globe Publication Frequency: 3 times/year (Spring, Summer, and Fall) Salary: 400,000 won/semester Selection Process:
Round 1 ？ Resume & Writing Sample (see below for details)
Round 2 ？ Interview Please send your resume and writing sample to hs_kim@kdischool.ac.kr Application Deadline: Thursday, Feb. 11, 2011 Those who make it to the second round will be contacted individually to set up an interview. We will be looking forward to reviewing many applications.
Writing Sample Please choose one of the following two topics and write an article to appear in the Globe. Keep your article clear and interesting. The draft is expected to be less than two pages, double-spaced in 12 point font. 1) Report on the opening ceremony and orientation 2) Interview with one of our new students (what he/she did before coming here, what made him/her choose the KDI School, what he/she wants to do after graduation, etc.)
