[2009 Fall Semester] Application for Graduation Eligibility Review

Application for Graduation Eligibility Review
(Students who will have completed all of their graduation requirements by the end of the fall semester)

 

Please be informed that those who have completed or will complete all their graduation requirements by the end of the 2009 Fall semester are required to apply for a Graduation Eligibility Review.  Please be informed that 2009 students are not eligible.

1. Application Period: October 5 (Mon) ~ October 16 (Fri) 

2. How to Apply: 
1) Click on ’Members’ in the KDI School website (http://www.kdischool.ac.kr/).
2) Login using your Student Number as your ID
3) Click on ’Applications’
4) Click on ’Application for Graduation Eligibility Review’

3. Graduation Eligibility: 
Students must have fulfilled the following requirements in order to be eligible for graduation:
1) (~ Admission Year 2007) Completed at least 30 regular course credits
     (Admission Year 2008~) Completed at least 39 regular course credits
including core course(s) and at least 1 course from a different program
2) Satisfied one of the conditions below during the last semester of their second year of study
- Written a thesis
- Taken or taking two SRCs for Graduation
- Taken or taking one SRC and one lecture course for Graduation
- Taken or taking two lecture courses and a research paper for Graduation
(Please submit your Research Paper and a Performance Assessment Criteria form with a professor’s signature to Ms. Hye-Jung YANG by October 16, 2009.)
3) Other Requirements
- Completed English courses or been granted a waiver
- Completed a Korean course and Culture I course (International Students Only)

* Research Paper

A Research Paper is a replacement for a Supervised Research Course or thesis.
Students may select one of the papers they submitted for a course and expand the research content.

Students who have completed 45 credits only by taking 15 lecture courses (without an application for a SRC or Thesis) should submit a research paper and the attachment within the application period for graduation, both to the Office of Academic and Student Affairs and to a supervisor whose course was taken and of whom a report was requested.

 

If students pass the graduation eligibility review,
- Students, who have completed all graduation requirements, can graduate from the KDI School in December 11, 2009.
- Students who successfully complete all graduation requirements by the end of the 2009 fall semester will be eligible to graduate on January 31, 2010.  These students’ names will appear as Conditional on the Graduates list at the Commencement Ceremony on December 11, 2009.
