l  Course Registration Period: April 18(Mon), 10:00 AM ~ April 23(Sat) 10:00 PM (for both 1st & 2nd summer sessions)

l  Course Schedule and Course List: Please see the attached files

(# Academic Writing (Sec.4) is day course and Academic Writing (Sec.5) is evening course)

l  Please make sure that you can register for summer courses once you finish your SPRING course evaluations. And see the course evaluation notice on the school website.

1. Do I need to register for the 1st summer session during the registration period?

=> You need to register for both 1st & 2nd summer sessions during the registration period.

2. Where can I find the course schedule for the 2nd summer session?

=> You can find the course schedule of both the 1st & 2nd summer sessions in the summer course schedule file. There are TWO sheets in one file.

3. Do I have to take “Academic Writing” course in the summer semester?

=> Students are required to take two English courses (LPM and Academic/Thesis Writing) for graduation. We encourage you to take the writing course in the summer semester, even though Academic Writing course will be offered in the fall semester for those who couldn’t take the course. In fall semester, two academic writing courses for full-time students and one academic writing course for part-time students will be offered in the fall semester. And if you write thesis or capstone project paper, we encourage you to take the thesis writing.

4. Do I have to take “Advanced Research Seminar” course in the summer?

=> 2010 Students who formed POS committee and are going to write thesis or capstone project paper have to take the course. Full-time students (2011 Spring) need to take the course in the fall semester. Part-time students (2011 Spring) need to take the course in the summer 2012.

5. Can I declare two concentrations (one from my program and one from different programs)?

=> If you’re going to declare a concentration from different programs, you have to take core courses of the different program and concentration courses.

6. Where can I find syllabi of summer courses?

=> You can find them on the E-Education of the school website.
