Drop & Withdrawal Period for 2010 Preliminary Session

Dear 2010 Students,

 

Hello, this is Byung-Kwon Lee from the Academic Affairs Division.

I would like to inform you about course add & withdrawal period for 2010 Preliminary Session.

Please refer to the following information.

 

1. Course Drop Period: Jan. 12(Tue.) ~ Jan. 14(Thu.)

If you want to drop the course, please fill out the application form that I attached and submit it to the Academic Affairs Division(Room.8215).

In this case, the course drop will not appear on the official transcript.

 

2. Course Withdrawal Period: Jan.19 (Tue.)~ Jan. 21(Thu.)

If you want to withdraw the course after course drop period, please fill out the application form that I attached and submit it to the Academic Affairs Division(Room.8215).

In this case, a "W" will appear on the official transcript. However, it will not affect the GPA.

 

3. Attendance: Students are required to attend at least 5/6 of each course in a given semester to receive credits and grades for the courses.

During the preliminary session 2 absences will be allowed. If you are absent more than 3 times from your class, you will fail in the course.

There is no course retaking chance in KDI School. When you are absent more than 3 times, you have to drop or withdraw the course.
