Application period for Leave of Absence (Extension) / Reinstatement for 2010 Spring Semester

Leave of Absence

# Content
1. Definition
: A leave of absence may be granted to students who must interrupt their studies due to personal circumstances (e.g. sickness or other unavoidable circumstances)

2. Application period:  Jan 26(Tue), 2010 ~ Feb 20(Sat), 2010
Please be informed that students wish to apply for a leave of absence, extension of leave of absence for the 2010 Spring Semester must apply for it by following below procedure during designated period.

Procedure:
- Log on to KDI School members
- Click on ’Applications’
- Select ’Leave of Absence/Reinstatement’ at the bottom
- Fill out the form with your personal information
- Confirm that the information you inputted is correct
- Complete your online application by pressing the ’submit’ button

3. Maximum duration of a leave of absence: 3 terms

4. In the event that a student returning from a leave of absence does not complete reinstatement procedures and register for coursework within the allotted time period, that student will be withdrawn from the School automatically, in accordance with School regulations.

# Additional details
1. Students may not take a leave of absence during their first term at the School.
2. Students wishing to extend their leave of absence must submit an additional
    application for another leave of absence before the current one expires.
3. Students who do not return to the School following their leave of absence, but have not applied for a leave of absence extension, shall be withdrawn from the School automatically, in accordance with School regulations.


Reinstatement
Article 44, School Regulations & Article 20, School Enforcement Regulations

# Content
1. Definition
: Students wishing to re-enroll after completing their leave of absence period may apply for reinstatement

2. Application period:  Jan 26(Tue), 2010 ~ Feb 20(Sat), 2010
Please be informed that students wish to apply for reinstatement for the 2010 Spring Semester must apply for it by following below procedure during designated period.

Procedure:
- Log on to KDI School members
- Click on ’Applications’
- Select ’Leave of Absence/Reinstatement’ at the bottom
- Fill out the form with your personal information
- Confirm that the information you inputted is correct
- Complete your online application by pressing the ’submit’ button
