The fall semester is going to begin from September 10(Mon). During the course add and drop period below, you can change your registered course(s). Please refer to the attached files for the course add and drop.

* ARS(Sec.8) will meet at 14:00 in the first class (September 14).
② Advanced Research Seminar (ARS)
This course (3 credits) is mandatory for 2012(spring) full-time students who have formed POS committee and who are going to write a thesis. The class will meet once in every other week. As it is the Pass/Fail course, its grade will not affect your term GPA.
For 2012 part-time students, they will form POS committee in 2012 spring semester and take ARS in 2012 summer semester. Related information will be provided before they form POS committee.

As the titles of the courses have been changed, you need to double check the title of the courses in order
not to retake the same course.

④ Foundation Skills Courses

* These courses (3 credits) will not be counted for graduation requirement credits (45 credits). However, the grade will affect your GPA score.
□ Course Drop and Withdrawal Application Period
* Course Drop: by October 13 (Sat)
Should you decide to drop your registration within the first 5 weeks after classes begin, you may request to the Office of Academic Affairs to drop your registration. In this case, the drop will not appear on your transcript. In order for you to apply for the course drop, you have to get approval from the course professor.
* Course Withdrawal: from October 15 (Mon) to November 17 (Sat)
Should you decide to withdraw from a class after the first 5 weeks and within the 10th week after classes begin, you may apply to the Office of Academic Affairs to withdraw from the class. In this case, a “W” will appear on your transcript; however, it will not affect your GPA. In order for you to apply for the course withdrawal, you have to get approval from the course professor.
