Please be informed that the KDI and the KDI School prepare an internship program for international students of the KDI School. This program will provide an opportunity for you to get hands-on experience in public policy research at the KDI. At the same time, you will be able to work on your thesis for master degree of the KDI School.

KDI Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) Internship

 

1. Period

√ February 11 ~ December 31, 2013 (One year)

 

2. Working Department

√ Policy Consultation Division, Center for International Development, KDI

√ KDI School of Public Policy and Management

 

3. Job Description

[KDI-Center for International Development]

√Write one report about a country

√ Translate data in your native language to English

√ Search requested data and support researchers

√ Support seminars

 

[KDI School of Public Policy and Management]

√ Write a thesis/research report (mandatory for internship)

√ Working for CA or AA

 

4. Qualification

√ 2012 Spring International Students(MPP, MDP)

(except for 2012 Fall International Students &Exchange Students)

√ CGPA 3.5 or above

√ Excellent English writing skill

√ Being fluent in at least one of the three languages: Arabic(Algeria project), Burmese(Myanmar project), Portuguese(Brazil project)

 

5. Stipend

√ Monthly stipend will be granted from March, 2013

√ Amount: Approximately each Month KRW 1,000,000(Total KRW 10,000,000)

 

6. Application

√ Required Documents:

1) Curriculum Vitae

2) Application form (please confirm the attached file)

3) Research plan for your thesis, capstone project, or Supervised Research Project at the KDI School

 

√ Selection Process: Document Review → Interview

√ Schedule:

1) Application Period: November 13~November 16

2) Document Review: At least one week expected

      3) Interview: At least one week expected
