Application for WB-KDI School Workshop on Impact Evaluation

 

 

REGIONAL IMPACT EVALUATION WORKSHOP is undertaken by the World Bank and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management to give participants an overview of impact evaluation from 3^rd of December to 7^th of December at Seoul Kyoyuk Munhwa Hoekwan. Details of all the information can be found in the attached document.

 

It’s a superb opportunity to those of you who dream of becoming a development consultant and to learn about the basic concept of development cooperation impact evaluation. Prestigious scholars such as Paul Gertler of U.C. Berkeley and WB specialists will be presenters and moderators.

 

Due to the limited number of seats, we will have a process which selects participants by submitted application among the students.

We’ll give priority to MDP students, because the purpose of the workshop is to explore development issue.

- Period: Dec 3 ？ 7, 2012 (5 days)  ※ KDI Students are exempt from the mendatory attandence on Dec 7 

- Venue: Seoul Kyoyuk Munhwa Hoekwan(202 Yangjae-dong Seocho-gu, Seoul)

- Participants: WB faculties, KDI School students, International participants from East Asia, Government officials of Korea and 

                        related institutional participants (KOICA, EXIM Bank and NGOs)

 

* Transportation to and from the hotel, and lunch will be provided.

* Mandatory attendance throughout the entire program (Mon-Thursday) is required.

Those who are not available to attend on all 4 days(Dec 3 - 6) are requested not to attend.

* Participants who attended the 2nd WB-KDI Workshop on Impact Evaluation held last August are recommended not to apply.
