Application for WB-KDI School Workshop on Impact Evaluation REGIONAL IMPACT EVALUATION WORKSHOP is undertaken by the World Bank and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management to give participants an overview of impact evaluation from 29th of August to 2th of September at Seoul Plaza Hotel. Details of all the information can be found in the attached document. It’s a superb opportunity to those of you who dream of becoming a development consultant and to learn about the basic concept of ODA impact evaluation. Prestigious scholars such as Paul Gertler of U.C. Berkeley and WB specialists will be presenters and moderators. Due to the limited number of seats, we will have a process which selects people by submitted application. Beneficiary: WB-KDIS Joint Certificate, STATA additional Sessions l Titles: REGIONAL IMPACT EVALUATION WORKSHOP-Evaluating the Impact of Development Programs: Turning Promises into Evidence l Period: Aug 29 ？ Sept 2, 2011 (5 days) l Venue: Seoul Plaza Hotel l Participants: WB faculties, KDI School students, and International participants from East Asia, Government officials of Korea, related institutional participants (KOICA, EXIM Bank and NGOs) * Transportation to and from the hotel, and lunch will be provided. * Mandatory attendance throughout the entire program (Mon-Fri) is required. Those who are not available to attend on all days are requested not to attend. * Participants who attended the first WB-KDI Workshop on Impact Evaluation held last December are recommended not to apply.
