Please note that the KDI school has decided to assign students in the new single room dormitory.

Students will check-in to the new single room dormitory after application and proper procedure.

(This notice is for Global Ambassador Students)

Due to limited space, we can''t accept everyone''s demand.

 

Please read carefully this e-mail and follow the instructions if you wish to apply for new single room dormitory.

 

We will soon start accepting formal applications for the new single room dormitory.

 

In last survey results, the number of applicants was more than the capacity, which means

we''ll need a system for assigning the rooms. We will use the first come first served system,

and the application period is from January 22nd(Tue) 18:00 ~ 23(Wed) 18:00. ->for 24 hours.

(It''s Korean Time - Not your local time)

 

Please note, new single room dormitory is more expensive than the on-campus, off-campus(APT) dormitories. For your understanding, the on-campus dormitory fee is KRW 180,000 a month (subject to change) but the fee for the new single room dormitory fee is KRW 350,000 a month (subject to change).

 

If you are a global ambassador student, you are supposed to get KRW 1,000,000 a month after due

deduction including dormitory, which means you will get KRW 650,000 a month basically due to the

dormitory fee. If you use a hospital or go to a field trip in the month, it will be less.

 

Below is how you can apply for the new single room dormitory.

Please note we accept only application via MIS and that you can’t cancel your assignment.

*Dormitory application will be accepted during the School Registration period.

Applications past the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Procedure

① Visit the KDI School Website:  www.kdischool.ac.kr

② Click ‘MIS’ on the right side, below ‘KDI School Service’

③ Log in using your student ID & password

→ *Student ID: as appeared in your Letter of Acceptance

→ *Password:

1)Students who applied online(internet): The password used when submitting your application

2)Students who applied offline(via External Relations & Development Division): Date of Birth (8

digits)

④ Click ‘Dormitory’ on the left and go to ‘Request for Dormitory’

⑤ Click  "New"

⑥ Click  "Dormitory Bldg."and choose the “New Single Room Dormitory”

⑦ Click  ''Save'' on the upper right side

⑧ Click  ''Query'' and check your application ->Please check it at list twice

 

Please note that KDI School has full authority over decisions concerning dormitory assignment.
