Application for CAMPUS Asia Program for Fall 2012(extended)

(Only for Overseas Korean(재외동포) & Korean Students)   Starting from 2012, students can take classes and earn credits and/or a degree in China and Japan, sponsored by a newly introduced, inter-governmental scholarship called CAMPUS Asia. Designed to promote cooperation among Asian universities, CAMPUS Asia will allow our students to obtain an additional master’s degree while enjoying the rare experience of living and studying in the three Northeast Asian countries.   Consortium Partners 1)     Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan 2)     School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM), Tsinghua University, China
Eligibility Requirements for Application 1)     At least 24 credits completed including core courses (by the time of application) 2)     CGPA of at least 3.5 or above (by the time of application) 3)     TOEFL: CBT 213, iBT 79~80, IELTS 6.0 or above (by the time of application) 4)     Completion of three terms (five terms for the part-time students) at KDI School (by the time of departure)   Application Period: May 7 (Mon.) ~ 12 (Sat.), 2012 Please submit the complete documents to the Student Affairs Division (Rm. 8214).   Program Structure 1)     From Oct. 2012 to Sept. 2013: Degree program at GRIPS 2)     From Sept. 2013 to Jan. 2014: Exchange program at SPPM, Tsinghua University   Application Materials       1) Application Form for CAMPUS Asia     2) Resume     3) Statement of Purpose

    5) 2 Photos (3 X 4 cm)     6) TOEFL Score   Benefits 1)     Credits earned from the partner university can be transferred if the program chair recognizes the equivalency of the courses. 2)     No extra tuition will be charged. 3)     Participants will be provided with financial support for living expenses.                 (GRIPS:80,000Yen per month, Dorm fee: Free, Tsinghua: yet to be formally approved by Chinese goverment) Remarks 1)     Students who satisfy the KDI School’s internal requirements will be eligible to apply to the partner school.
