Recruiting student reporters for the School magazine The Globe

Take part in publishing The Globe, the KDI School newsletter!

 

Each semester, the KDI School publishes The Globe, an informative and innovative channel through which students, faculty, staff, and alumni are able to stay connected with each other and stay on top of the news around campus.

The KDI School is currently recruiting creative and enthusiastic students to assist in producing The Globe 2013.


Number of reporters needed: 3

Job Description:
The students will be required to participate in various school events to collect writing material. They are expected to work with The Globe staff and contact appropriate offices and people in order to obtain necessary information, as well as take photographs when needs be.

The Globe reporters will also assist in promoting the School through SNS, including the Facebook, Youtube, and various blogs. They may also be asked to assist in various School events including the Open House, Orientation, etc.

Students who are selected will work as a Globe reporter for the duration of their stay at the KDI School.

Publication Dates: 3 times/year (Spring, Summer, and Fall)

Salary: 400,000 won/semester

Selection Process:
Round 1 ? Resume & Writing Sample (see below for details)
Round 2 ? Interview

Those who make it to the second round will be contacted individually to set up an interview. We will be looking forward to

receiving many applications.

 

Writing Sample

Please choose a topic of your choice and write an article to appear in the Globe. It may be about a School event, a description of your country, and any other topic that would interest the readers of the Globe. The article is expected to be less than two pages, double-spaced in 12 point font.

 

The resume should be short and concise, and should primarily revolve around your writing experiences. Please note while prior writing and publishing experience would be a plus, it is by no means a prerequisite.
