KPSA-KINU Joint International Forum

Korean Unification from an International Perspective

The Korean Political Science Association (KPSA) and Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) are jointly planning to hold an international forum on the topic of “Korean Unification from an International Perspective” on July 20, 2012. This forum is part of ongoing efforts to promote international cooperation for Korean unification, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Unification.

The goal of the forum is to evaluate the issues involved in Korean Unification from an international perspective.

The forum will also address the topic of leadership changes in the U.S., Taiwan, and South Korea, with special focus on their implications for the Korean Peninsula.

The forum will invite about 25 leading scholars on North Korea, Northeast Asia, and international politics, half of them from various countries including the U.S., China, Japan, Russia, Australia, India, Indonesia and Myanmar.
