In particular, the KDI School improved upon what was already a positive evaluation last year, having received a grade of “Good” in the previous evaluation.

The 2012 Institutional Evaluations was aimed at evaluating the achievements of 23 research institutions, 2 affiliated institutions, and 1 graduate school(KDI School) under the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences of the Prime Minister’s Office. Only two other institutions apart from the KDI School received a grade of “Very Good.”

 KDI 국제정책대학원(대학원장:남상우)은 국무총리 산하 경제？인문사회연구회의 2012년도 연구기관 종합평가결과 우수기관(“매우우수”등급)으로, 남상우 대학원장이 기관장리더십 평가에서 우수기관장으로 선정됨에 따라, 5월 7일(화) 외교센터에서 열린 수상식에서 각각 ‘우수기관상’ 과 ‘우수기관장상’을 수상하였다.

특히 KDI 국제정책대학원은 지난해 연구기관평가에서 ‘우수’로 평가를 받은데 이어 올해 ‘매우우수’ 평가를 받는 성과를 거두었다.

한편, 이번 연구기관 평가는 2012년도 실적을 중심으로 국무총리 산하 경제·인문사회연구회 소관 23개 연구기관과 2개 부설기관, 1개 대학원을 대상으로 실시되었으며, 이중 KDI 국제정책대학원과 2개 연구기관 이 ‘매우우수’평가를 받았다.
