2013 International Field Research and Study (Only for Korean Students)

Economic crisis and Sustainability - Lessons from Europe

 

Dear Korean Students,

During the summer break, the KDI School organizes the International Field Research and Study (IFRS) program for Korean students. Continuing the fine tradition from 1998, the IFRS aims to develop international experiences and perspectives of Korean students by visiting global companies and universities overseas.

The 2013 IFRS assumes an even greater significance, as it will be the first time to organize the event in the European Region, highlighting the following issues

1)      How the EU is dealing with the European Financial Crisis

- The current address of the European Financial Crisis, and how EU’s institutional measures to deal with the crisis

2)     How the EU member nations’ respective governments are preparing for the future, in light of sustainability

- Each government’s sustainable growth policies and site visit to successful cases of such policies

3)     ODA in European Countries: policy implications and current issues

- In respect to international development cooperation, the experiences of donor countries and its implications, sharing of visions for the future

 

The KDI School believes this visit will be a unique experience that can help your study and further broaden your global perspective.

Moreover, we have decided to support parts of the participation fee for general students (those who are not affiliated with any companies or the government) through the school’s screening process. Please see below for specific details.
