Student clubs for 2018 Summer semester are now open to create!
Student clubs in KDI School aims to provide students with ample opportunities to meet other students through various social, academic and athletic activities.
Every student is welcome to organize their own clubs. The clubs that are registered successfully will receive financial support from the school for its activity.
For more details, please read the below:
1. How to Create a Club
1) Send an e-mail to Mr. Yang, Seungjae (sj_yang@kdischool.ac.kr) about the club that you would like to create in order to avoid the same club being created by more than two groups
2) Download the club application form from this email or on the school homepage (“Student” → “Official Form” or “Student” → “Notice” )
3) Fill out the KDIS Student Club Registration Form
4) Fill out the KDIS Student Club Membership Registration (Sheet2)
5) Find a faculty advisor for your club and get his/her approval and signature
6) Submit the hard copy of the application form to Mr. Yang, Seungjae directly in the Student Affairs Division
Application Period: May 15th, Tuesday ~ May 18th, Friday
2. Requirements to Create a Club
- A club should have at least more than 10 members and 1 faculty advisor
- It is recommended to have members of various backgrounds
- It is recommended that a club should arrange at least 3 main activities per semester
3. Financial Support
- Each club’s activities will be covered within KRW 200,000
- The money will be given to each club representative at the end of semester after reviewing its activity report
4. Requirements for Financial Support
- The club representative should submit a club activity report including financial details and original receipts.
* If the original receipts are missing, it cannot be reimbursed
- A club should share all activity plans and results (pictures, reports, etc.) not only with club members, but also with all school members by posting it on the “Student Club” board of the KDI School homepage
- A club should open its activities to all school members to encourage participation by non-club members.
5. How to Join the Club
- The Student Affairs Division will announce the final list of Student Clubs for 2018 Summer semester on the school website and bulletin board. If there are clubs you want to join, you can contact to the club representatives in the list.
