Working Scholarship(TA/AA) Application for Fall Term,2003

Dear Students,

I''d like to inform you of TAship and AAship for Fall Term of 2003.
Applicants who want to apply for a Teaching Assistantship (hereafter TAship) and Administrative Assistantship (hereafter AAship) should complete the application form on the school homepage and submit it by the 8th of August. Please be well aware of “HOW TO APPLY”.

1. Application for TA/AA

*Application Period: From now to 18:00, August 8th (Fri.)

*How to Apply
: You can complete and submit your application on the School Homepage only.

2. Click the menu on “3. Application”
3. Click the menu on “Application for Working Scholarship”
4. Fill out the Application Form
5. Click the button on “Submit”

*Notification: On August 22th, through E-mail or Message Board of the School Homepage.

2. Detailed Information on TA/AA ship

*Type of Work
- TA: To assist professors in his/her preparation for class or in his/her research depending on the need of the professors
-AA: To assist administrative work.

*Working Period
: September 15th ~ December 5th (for 12 weeks)
※ If emergency arises, you can withdraw from your work-study obligation with the consent from your workplace and inform Ms. Yeon-Jung KIM.

*Work Hours
- TA: For students who assist professors, we offer up to 5 hours/week.
- - AA: For students who assist administrative staff and departments, we offer up to 10 hours/week.

*Payment
- For 1 hour = 5,000 won
- 5 hours/week * 4 weeks = 100,000 won/month
- 10 hours/week * 4weeks = 200,000 won/month

*Payment method
: The allowances will be wired to your bank account every 4 weeks (after your work is done).

*Arrangement
- Applying TA/AA ships does not guarantee that he/she gets the TA/AA position.
- An internal screening process will be conducted on the basis of student applications.
