KDI Alumni won the Best Principal in The National Education Week 2017 in Bangladesh.

2004 KDI Alumni, Dr. Md. Abdul Maleque from Bangladesh has won Best principal competition in the National Education Week 2017 in Bangladesh. Dr. Maleque who is current a principal in Brindaban Government College, Habiganj, Bangladesh has won the competition that involved 302 public colleges that are affiliated to the national university. Dr. Maleque has awarded such position after stiff competition among the principal from all college in Bangladesh in a less than a year since He acquired such position.

Expressing his gratitude to KDI School and KOICA, Dr. Maleque has thanking the school as part of current success in his career journey, together with KOICA Bangladesh Office for their role in the importance of Central library in improving the quality of teaching on world class education that will increase students competence in digital world. “The secret of such success is that I have rejuvenate the interaction class room activity, use of central library and the seminar room of concerned department which has given students more interest in classroom interaction “He said.

Before joining Brindaban Government College in October last year, Dr. Malique served as the Assistant Director of National Academy for Education Management (NAEM) which is under the Ministry of Education in the Government of the Peoples of Bangladesh. Despite of less than a year in his current position as a Principal, Dr. Maleque has proven to be a success leader who has managed to win over other experienced principals from 302 different public colleges in Bangladesh.
