DEMIRKOL, Ozgur (1998 MPP)
I had the news of Prof. Lim’s unfortunate passing away. Would you please give my personal condolence to his family and the inaugural class of 98. He was a special person and man of mission. His leadership skills and fatherly approach will always be remembered. I very much hope that the school will remember him and name one of the lecture halls’ after him. He named the Ambassador Hall on the top floor of the original building when it was first started as a lecture room. I propose, if the Administration of the School also endorses, to name the Ambassador’s room as Prof. Lim’s room. Would you please pass my request and proposal to related authorities in the school?

KIM, Jung-Hie (1999 MPP)
It really made me so sad. I went to church and prayed for Dean Lim this morning. It is great loss for KDI School.

MLELWA, Evans Eusebius (2001 MPP)
I received the information of the sudden death of the founding Dean Gill-Chin Lim with tears and mixed feelings. We knew him by his fatherly care and advice he was giving us when we were at KDI School.
His zeal to see KDI turning to be one of the best training institutions in Asia and the world as well.
May we take that spirit of his to ensure that his ideas do prevail for the betterment of the institution. May the almighty God rest his soul in peace. Amen.

Ni Lar (2001 MPP)

OBISESAN, Emmanuel Oluseun (2001 MPP)
This is really very sad news. I was choked when I got the news about the sudden passing of such an amiable gentle man. I wish to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to his immediate family, members of staff both in Michigan and KDI students, alumni and all others. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. He has been a father, friend and mentor to us. I can never forget your endeavors in making KDI a global village. Even though you are no longer with us today your dreams, ideas and vision will live forever! Adieu Prof! I am going to miss you.
