[Introduction]
In the last ten years South Korean political parties and companies have dramatically improved their governance and transparency. But there is still more to be done. In this special seminar, co-hosted by British Embassy Seoul and the Korean Pact for Anti Corruption and Transparency (K-PACT) Council, we look at an aspect of corporate governance common to all democracies - the relationship between political parties and business.

Companies organise into business groups in part to represent their policy interests. And political parties need finance, which companies are often willing to offer. This seminar will examine how to make the relationship between business and political parties more transparent.
