<<Event Notice>> A Visit to National Organizations : BoK, NA and Library of the NA (July 27th)

 

Dear KDI School Students,

 

KDI School arranged a visit to the Bank of Korea, the national bank of Korea, on the same day of the Parliament visit. By visiting the Bank of Korea, you will have a chance to learn more about the functions as the central bank.

 

To promote your understanding about parliamentarism in Korea, the KDI School has a plan to visit the National Assembly and the Library of National Assembly. It will be a good opportunity to visit national legislative organizations of Korea and to visit the largest archive, which may help your research. The schedule for visiting the Bank of Korea, Parliament, and the library is as below.

 

The event is open to all students. Both international and Korean students are welcome to participate. Also, the number of participants is limited to 60 students due to the organization’s request. Details are listed below.

Ø  Gathering Place and Time: Main Gate / 8:45 a.m.

Ø  Itinerary

09:00~ 10:00 Departure to the Bank of Korea

10:00~12:00 Visit the Bank of Korea

12:00~14:00 Lunch

14:00~15:50 National Assembly Library

16:00~17:00 National Assembly

17:00~18:00 Return to the KDI School

 

<Fee & Penalty>

For your convenience, the school would like to deduct the corresponding amount from your August stipend. If you don’t receive stipend from the school, you have to pay the admission fee in cash at the Student Affairs Division or transfer the fee until July18th (Wed.) to Wooribank account: 1005-300-972508.

 

Once your application is submitted, please note that you will be charged with absence penalty(KRW 20,000) unless you sent us an email notice 3 days prior to the event.

If you want to join, please apply via "KDI School member" as indicated below. When applying for the event, please consider your schedule beforehand to make sure you can actually attend.

 

1)   Visit   “www.kdischool.ac.kr”

2)    Log on to the KDI School "members” with your ID/PW

3)    Click “MIS” on the left side, below “KDI School Service”

4)    Click “Application for the School Events”

5)    Go to “BoK & National Assembly”, the name of event, and click “APPLY / MODIFY”

6)   Check your information and fill in "Comments"

7)    Click “Next (Save)”
