KDIS-WB-CAG Policy Forum in China: Social Governance

In partnership with the World Bank Institute and Chinese Academy of Governance(CAG), Development Research Team at the KDI School is pleased to announce that the ‘KDIS-WBI-CAG Policy Forum in China’ will be held from November 26th to 30th, 2014, at CAG in Beijing, PRC. Experts from the World Bank, KDI School faculties, and practitioners from CAG will deliver insightful presentations on selected issues of Social Governance. In an effort to promote this meaningful learning event, Development Research Team is happy to announce that we recruit KDI School students to join the Forum as participants where students can have a chance to learn about Governance, Civil Service, e-Government, Anti-Corruption issues with a diverse group of participants from China.

 

This is an opportunity offered only to the KDI School students; KDIS-WB-CAG Policy Forum in China will help you look into a variety of current governance issues and gain new perspectives thereby. This forum will help you to enhance your understanding of policies and provide unforgettable experiences.

 

*CAG(Chinese Academy of Governance) is a ministerial-level institution directly affiliated with the State Council. It is an important body for training high- and mid-level civil servants and high-level administrators and policy researchers; an important center for carrying out scientific research, particularly on the theory of public administration and on innovation in government administration; and an important think tank that provides consultation services to the Party and government on matters of policy.

○ No. of recruitments: appx. 30 students (Due to the limited number of seats open to KDI School students, there will be a competitive selection procedure)

 

○ Eligibility:

■ Those who are interested in Social Governance

■ Those who can participate for the entire duration of the workshop (Full participation is mandatory to receive the KDIS-WB-CAG Joint Certificate. Since it is a great privilege to involve with experts, and it is usually very competitive to take part, please be mindful of your responsibilities as a sincere and passionate participant.)
