“Yuseong-gu(Local Government in Daejeon) Visit” 

 

 

  

I would like to inform that Yuseong-gu office(Local Government) invites KDI School to a trip which will take place on October 16^th(Fri.).

 

Through this trip, we will have a chance to visit Yuseong-gu Office, Reserch Complex(e,g. Geological Museum and Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials), Flower Festival(Chrysanthemums Exhibition) and Foot Bath.

This trip will give you an opportunity to experience Yuseong-gu, a science and tourist city and its many attractions. You will find the details of this trip in table below.

 

Lunch and transportation will be fully supported by Yuseong-gu Office(Local Government) and KDI School!

 

Please note that only limited number of students (up to 40 persons) can participate in this trip. The application will be processed on a first-come-first served basis, so hurry up to enjoy this amazing opportunity.

-   Date: October 16^th(Fri.)

-   Application Period: October 7th(Wed) - 8th(Thu.) (First come First Served Basis)

-   Venue: Yuseong-gu Office, Yurim Park Chrysanthemums Exhibition and so on

-   Entrance Fee: KRW 0 (Supported by Yuseong-gu Office and KDI School)

 

▶ About Yuseong

• Yuseong-gu is located in Daejeon Metropolitan City. When Daedeok Science Town was completed in 1973, Yuseong became the heart of science and technology in Korea, hosting various government-funded research institutions and corporate R&D facilities.

• It successfully hosted the Daejeon EXPO in 1993, gaining a reputation as a global city of science.

• The 1,000-year-old Yuseong Hot Springs was designated as a special tourism district in 1994 and it has quickly developed as an international destination for hot spring baths.

▶ How to apply for the event

1. Visit, “mis.kdischool.ac.kr”

2. Click MIS under KDI School Service

3. Log on using your ID and password

4. Click Apply for Events on the left side, below Training/Event

5. Click the Query button

6. Go to “Yuseong-gu(Local Government in Daejeon) Visit” and Click APPLY/MODIFY

7. The list of the events would show up.

  8. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application result under the Training/Event
