[Cultural Event] Seoul City Tour (May, 6th)

Dear KDI School Students,
We hope that everyone has well prepared for the finals. When you are done with the end-of-the-semester burnout, please remember a cultural event has been waiting for you during the spring break. ‘Seoul City Tour’ will be arranged on May 6th.
For the brief information about where we will go, the first place would be Gyeongbok royal Palace which was built at the turn of the 20th century. You will get to see one of the most beautiful palaces in Korea. Then we will move to Bukchon Hanok Village. Lastly, we will walk around the Cheonggyecheon, and have a free time in the Dongdaemun market.
The event is open to all students. Both international and Korean students are welcome to participate. Please find the details below.
<The Seoul City Tour Details>
Ø Date: May 6th (Fri)
Ø Application Period: April 20th(Wed) ~ April 27th(Wed)
Ø Participation Fee: KRW 2,400 (Gyeongbok Royal Palace Entrance Fee)
(50% group discount has been applied.)
Ø Gathering Place and Time: In front of the dormitory / 07:50 a.m.

08:00~10:30 Move to the Gyeongbok Royal Palace
10:30~11:30 Tour
11:30~13:00 Bukchon Hanok Village Tour
13:00~14:30 Lunch
14:30~15:00 Cheonggyecheon Tour
15:00~16:00 Free time in the Dongdaemun Market
16:00~18:30 Return to KDI School
▶ How to apply for the event ◀
1. Visit, KDIS Homepage (https://www.kdischool.ac.kr/)
2. Click MIS in the Sidebar menu
3. Log on using your ID and password
4. Click Apply for Events on the left side, below Training/Event
5. Go to Seoul City Tour
6. Click Save
7. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application result under the Training/Event
Application Deadline: April 27th , 2016

**Please check your timetable before signing up for the event since your absence from any of the classes will be NOT be excused! Once your application is submitted, please note that you will be charged with absence penalty of 20,000 (KRW) if you don’t show up on the day, “UNLESS” you sent us an email notice 3 days in advance.
