Dear KDI School Students,

 

KDI School arranged a visit to the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) in the Songdo, Incheon. By visiting the Incheon Free Economic Zone, you will have a chance to learn about the urban development project in Korea.

 

 

 

 

To promote your understanding about international organization, the KDI School has a plan to visit the World Bank Group Korea Office and The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) East and North-East Asia Office. It will be a good opportunity to visit international organizations in Korea. The schedule for visiting the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) is as below.

 

The event is open to all students. Both international and Korean students are welcome to participate. Also, the number of participants is limited to 40 students. Details are listed below.

Ø  Gathering Place and Time: In front of the dormitory / 7:50 a.m.

Ø  Itinerary

07:50~10:00 Departure to the Incheon Free Economic Zone Office

10:00~11:50 Incheon Free Economic Zone Office (Observatory, Ubiquitous Management Center, etc.)

11:50~12:30 Central Park (Water Texi)

12:30~13:30 Lunch (Cafeteria of NEAT Tower)

13:30~14:50 UN ESCAP East and North-East Asia Office

14:50~16:00 World Bank Group Korea Office

16:00~18:30 Return to the KDI School

 

* Since the lunch place will be a cafeteria, lunch menu cannot be exactly matched with your food preference.

▶ How to apply for the event ◀

1. Visit, KDIS Homepage (https://www.kdischool.ac.kr/)

2. Click MIS in the Sidebar menu

3. Log on using your ID and password

4. Click Apply for Events on the left side, below Training/Event

5. Go to Field Trip to Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ)

6. Click Save

7. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application result under the Training/Event

Application Deadline: November 11^th (Fri), 2016

 **Please check your course schedule before signing up for the event since your absence from any of the classes will be NOT be excused! If you don’t show up on the day, absence penalty of 20,000(KRW) will be charged unless you sent us an e-mail notice 3 days in advance (Nov, 15^th).
