Hello, everyone. This is Boeun from Student Affairs Division. I’m glad to inform you of the ‘Site Visit Program to Statistics Korea and the special lectures of statistics’. KDI School and the Statistics Korea have arranged the program so far, and now it is ready to open.

 

■ Overview

Statistics Korea makes utmost efforts to produce statistics useful to statistical users and to help the general public utilize statistics conveniently and ubiquitously. As a backbone, national statistical agency, the Statistics Korea makes a comprehensive plan for the advancement of official statistics, shares more statistics to ensure collaboration with relevant agencies, and supports major policy establishment including creative economy. Statistics Korea is trying the best to develop and produce diverse and reliable official statistics of prices, employment and income, which are sensitive to people's lives, and to help Koreans lead happier lives through statistical production. In this regards, Site visit to Statistics Korea and the special lectures of statistics would be the informative experience to all.

- Venue: Statistics Korea & Statistics Training Institute

■ Application

- Application period: March 27 ~ 28

- Application is on the Frist come, first served basis.

 

■ How to apply for the event

1. Visit, KDIS Homepage (https://www.kdischool.ac.kr/)

2. Click MIS in the Sidebar menu

3. Log on using your ID and password

4. Click Apply for Events on the left side, below Training/Event

5. Go to Site Visit to Statistics Korea and the special lectures

6. Click Save

7.  For the confirmation, click on the Event Application result under the Training/Event

 

▶ IMPORTANT ◀

- You MUST prioritize your academic calendar when you apply for the event. Your absence from any of the classes will be NOT be excused.

- There would be a penalty of 20,000 KRW if you don’t show up on the day without prior cancellation.
