KDI School 20^th Anniversary Photo & Video Contest

KDI School is celebrating its 20^th anniversary with a photo & video contest. The contest is open to every member of the KDI School family —current students, alumni, faculty and staff. Submit a photograph or a video you have taken at the KDI School since it first opened in 1998. 

 

KDIS Then and Now

Take us back to the best days of your KDI School memories. Dive into your hard drive and find an old/new photo or video file you want to share with everyone. This could be a classroom scene, a building, an extracurricular event – anything you come across that illustrates how much the School has progressed over the years.

 

Deadline

Photographs or video files are to be submitted electrically as jpg or video format (ex. AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV, MP4) format attachments to photocontest@kdis.ac.kr  by April 18^st, 2017.  Selected photos & video will be displayed at the anniversary website, and possibly at the KDI History Hall. Contest winners will be announced on May 11, who will be contacted individually via e-mail. For more information, please send an inquiry to photocontest@kdis.ac.kr

 

Eligibility and How to Apply

A. Eligibility: Anyone related to KDI School (professor, student, alumni, and staff)

    (Please note that each contestant can submit up to five photographs and two video files)

B. Submission:

1) Submit photographs in their largest size possible (minimum 2000x3000 pixels) along with an entry form to photocontest@kdis.ac.kr

2) Submit video footage as below;

• Format: AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV, MP4 etc.
• File size: maximum 500MB
• Video duration: minimum 30 seconds, maximum 2 minutes
• Video quality: SD(640*480), HD(1280*720), Full HD(1920*1080)
• Submit videos with an entry form via email to photocontest@kdis.ac.kr

 

？Contest Results

Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 submissions, with the winners determined by a panel of KDIS judges. Submitted photos & videos are judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, and artistic merit. The story behind the photo may influence the judges' decisions.

• Grand prize: 1 winner * 500,000 KRW
  • Excellence prize: 2 winners * 300,000 KRW
  • Silver prize: 2 winners * 200,000 KRW
  • Bronze prize: 5 winners * 100,000 KRW
