<<Schedule for the KFRS>>

Ø Date: Aug. 1 (Tue.) ~ Aug. 4 (Fri.)

Ø Gathering Place and Time: Crossroad in front of the dormitory / 08:40 ~ 08:50 a.m.

    (Please be on time. Due to security reasons, we have to be on time and will not be able to wait for latecomers.)

Ø Please bring your Foreign Registration Card for ID verification.

<<Room Matching and Bus Grouping>>

Since we are a big group, we will be divided into 2 groups during the KFRS, Bus A and Bus B.

Please check your room number and bus. -

<<Preparation>>

Ø Clothes: Dress appropriately for the field study (e.g., no tank tops, slippers or short pants).

Ø Others: Hat (it will be over 30c in Gyungju), Swim suit (swimming pool in the hotel at 20,000 KRW), toiletries, pocket money, umbrellas.

<<Credit>>

  Participants can obtain 1 credit upon submission of a KFRS report. This credit will be shown on your official transcript for the fall semester, under the course title “Korea Field Research and Study” as P/NP. Please note that it will not count towards graduation requirements. For submission, please follow the guidelines below:

Ø Submission Deadline: Sep. 3th (Sun.), 2017

Ø Recommended Length: Longer than 4~5 pages

Ø Contents: What you have learned from the KFRS in relation to your academic interests. (A simple description of your daily schedule is not recommended)

Please note that during the KFRS, there will be two AA to help us.

 <Penalty>
Please note that you will be charged a penalty of 50,000 KRW if you fail to show up on the day.
 
<How to pay the participation fee>
Ø   If you receive a monthly stipend from the school, the participation fee will be deducted from your October stipend.
Ø   2016 Fall students and those who are not getting a stipend should  transfer the participation fee of KRW 100,000 to the bank account below by July 27.
