 대학원에서는 본 대학원에 재학중인 50여국 100여명의 국제학생들이 한국의 가정을 방문하여 가족문화, 식생활, 풍습 등을 체험하는   

기회를 제공함으로써 한국에 대한 실질적인 이해를 돕고 상호친목과 문화교류를 독려하고자 매년 홈 비지팅 프로그램을 진행하고 있습니다.

외국인 학생들이 한국인 가정에 초청받아 따뜻한 밥 한 끼와 함께 가족들과 교제하는 것 자체만으로도 큰 의미가 있는 프로그램이오니, 많은 참여를 바랍니다.

 

<프로그램 개요>

1.참가대상 

- HOST: 한국학생 재학생 및 동문, KDI, KDIS 교직원

-GUEST: 국제학생 재학생

2. 초청기간: 봄방학, 여름 방학, 겨울방학 기간

HOME VISITNG PROGRAM

To provide an opportunity for international students to understand Korean culture and to enhance friendships and networking among the KDI School members, the KDI School matches the families of Korean students, faculty, and staff (“host families”) with international students (“guests”).

 

Host families can introduce Korean culture and modern family lifestyles to international students and guest students may share and exchange their traditions with host families through this opportunity.

 

[Participants]

☆ Hosts : Korean Students, Alumni, Faculty and Staff of the KDI School & KDI

          (Further announcement will be made for the host families.)

☆ Guests: KDI School International Students (2~4 per Host Family)

          Those who leaving Korea after commencement are not eligible to apply.

          Guests are ONLY allowed to visit one host, not more than two hosts since the subsidy will be provided only to ONE host.

 

[Activities]

☆ School encourages host families to provide overnight programs. However, activities may be substituted to a home cooked meal dinner or a one-day sightseeing.

 

[Period]

☆Winter Vacation: December 9th, 2017 ~ February 4th, 2018

       * Visiting period may be subject to change according to each host’s and guest’s schedule.

       * Host families may choose the date and time that is most convenient for them.

 

[Application]

☆ Sign up through the KDI School MIS. (by November 19). (*first come first serve basis.)

☆ How to apply

1. Visit “www.kdischool.ac.kr”

2. Log on to the KDI School with your ID/PW

3. Click “MIS” on the left side, below “KDI School Service”

4. Click “Apply for Event” on the left side

5. Click “Query” on the right side

6. Click a name of an event that you want.

(Check the name of the event: “[Networking] Home Visiting Program (Winter)”

7. Check the website for the detailed information

8. Check the food menu that you prefer (Only for guest)

9. Leave “Other Comments” with how many guests you will be able to invite and how many days it will be. (Only for host)

10. Click 'Save' on the upper right side

11. You can check or cancel your application on the 'Event application Result' Section.
