Dear KDI School Students,

 

Development Research Center is pleased to invite you the “Tackling the Implementation Gap: Learning, Iterating and Adapting for Better Development Impact”, which will be held at Seoul Accor Complex (Seoul Dragon City), in Seoul, Republic of Korea on December 14th, 2017.

 

This event is jointly organized by the KDI School and the Global Delivery Initiative (GDI) and the objectives are as follows:
1.    To share learnings from Korea’s development experience with a focus on delivery challenges, captured through KDI School – GDI case studies.
2.    To facilitate knowledge exchange around GDI approaches and strategies and share how it has been applied to other countries/interventions.
3.    To explore avenues for further action research on delivery challenges in public sector through connecting policy makers, practitioners, and researchers in multilateral, bilateral agencies, and academia from Korea and abroad.
This workshop will bring together officials from Korea’s ODA community, practitioners, academics, researchers and graduate students from Korea and abroad to disseminate the findings from our joint case studies, to discuss methodologies and approaches, and to address the emerging shift in thinking and delivery of ODA with a focus on delivery challenges.
