Dear KDIS Students,

 

It is my pleasure to inform you about our field trip, the Seoul City Tour! This field trip will be a great opportunity for all of you to learn about Korea by touring the capital city, Seoul. You will be able to learn about Korea’s past at Changdeokgung Palace and Insadong, and you will learn more about present-day Korea at Samsung D’light. We look forward to your active participation. Please carefully read the instructions below, as any trouble caused by not following directions will be your responsibility.

 

<Seoul City Tour>

1. Date: Wednesday, May 9th

2. Time: 7:50 AM ~ 7:00 PM

3. Venue: Seoul (Changdeokgung Palace, Insadong, Samsung D’light)

4. Participants: Maximum 82 (All KDIS International & Korean Students)

  - First come, first served.

5. Participation Fee: KRW 10,000

  - Fee will be deducted from your monthly stipend.

  - If you are not receiving the monthly stipend from the school, you will be asked to transfer the money to the school bank account.

- There will be a 50% discount if you mention that you are participating with your Buddy.

7. Lunch

Choose All or Vegetarian in the Food Menu in the MIS.

 

<Application>

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click [Field Trip] Seoul City Tour

6. 1) Choose Vegetarian for the Food Menu if you are a vegetarian

    2) Please leave a comment with your Buddy’s name in the Comments field ONLY if you are participating with your Buddy

    3) Click the Save button

7. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event

 

Application Period: April 25th ~ April 29th

  - You can cancel your application up until May 3rd.

  - You will be charged of KRW 10,000 if you cancel after May 3rd

  - You will be charged of KRW 20,000 if you do not show up on the day when you were successfully registered.

  - Please check your timetable before signing up for the event since your absence from any of your classes will NOT be excused.
