Dear KDIS Students,

 

It is my pleasure to inform you about our field trip, the 3rd Tunnel Tour! We will visit Nuri Peace Park, a park that symbolizes people's wish for peace, and the 3rd Tunnel that North Korea made. In Dora Observatory, we can look around the land of DMZ. However, we CANNOT enter DMZ. This tour will be a great chance for you to get a glimpse of historical tragedy caused by Korean War. Please carefully read the instructions below, as any trouble caused by not following directions will be your responsibility.

 

<The 3rd Tunnel Tour>

1. Date: Friday, June 8th

2. Time: 7:50 AM ~ 7:00 PM

3. Venue: Nuri Peace Park, the 3rd Tunnel, Dorasan Station, Dora Observatory

4. Participants: Maximum 40 (All KDIS International & Korean Students)

- First come, first served

- Maximum may be increased ONLY if there are enough applicants to have one more group

5. Participation Fee: KRW 10,000

- Fee will be deducted from your monthly stipend.

- If you are not receiving the monthly stipend from the school, you will be asked to transfer the money to the school bank account.

- There will be a 50% discount if you mention that you are participating with your Buddy.

7. Lunch

Choose All or Vegetarian in the Food Menu in the MIS.

8. Requirement: ID

You MUST bring either passport or Alien Registration Card.

 

<Application>

1. Go to http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/

2. Log in using your ID and password

3. Click Apply for Events on the left side, under Training/Event

4. Choose Field Trip for Event Type and click the Query button

5. Click [Field Trip] The 3rd Tunnel Tour

6. 1) Write your passport number or Alien Registration Number in the Comments field.

   2) Choose Vegetarian for the Food Menu if you are a vegetarian

   3) Please leave a comment with your Buddy’s name in the Comments field ONLY if you are participating with your Buddy

   4) Click the Save button

7. For the confirmation, click on the Event Application Result under Training/Event

 

Application Period: May 25th ~ May 28th

- You can cancel your application up until June 1st

- You need to send an email to cancel after June 1st, and you will be charged of KRW 10,000

- You will be charged of KRW 20,000 if you do not show up on the day when you were successfully registered.

- Please check your timetable before signing up for the event since your absence from any of your classes will NOT be excused.
