World Development Report 2018 Flagship Workshop

“Learning to Realize Education’s Promise”

The Development Research Team is pleased to announce the upcoming event on ‘Learning to Realize Education’s Promise Flagship’, where KDI School students will be invited to join as representatives of the School.

 

Every year, the World Bank’s World Development Report(WDR) covers a topic of central importance to global development. The 2018 WDR – Realizing the Promise of Education for Development – will be the first ever devoted to education, and now is an excellent time for it: education is critical for human welfare and key to achieving global Sustainable Development Goals.

 

This workshop will focus on featuring a topic of central importance to global development and learning. If you are interested in listening to findings from the World Bank Specialists and related representatives from Asia region, please refer below for the event and details and application process.

 

1. Date and Time : June 19^th, 9am – 5pm

 

2. Transportation: Round-Trip Transportation will be available from the KDI Schol Campus to G-KED Center.

 

3. Venue : Global Knowledge Exchange Development Center, Seoul  (Address: 47, Hoegi-ro, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea)
