2018 Korea Field Research and Study (KFRS)

 

Dear Students,

We are inviting KDI School students to our 2018 Korea Field Research and Study (KFRS), which will take place from August 7th (Tue) to August 10th (Fri).

 

This four-day field trip will be a great opportunity to witness the past and present of Korean development. By visiting industrial manufacturing sites, you will see the foundations of Korea's economy of today. We will also look around at some historical sites rich in Korean cultural heritage.

 

This field trip offers one credit as a field research course, upon submission of a KFRS report. This credit will be shown on your official transcript under the fall term, but will not count towards your graduation requirements.

 

Though KFRS is designed for international students, in order to improve their understanding of diverse aspects of Korea, Korean students are strongly encouraged to join in as well, and will be welcome to attend.

Itinerary and other detailed information have not yet been finalized; but please keep the date in mind. The final schedule will be announced as soon as possible.

 

Ø  Date: August 7th (Tue) to August 10th (Fri), 2018

Ø  Participation Fee: KRW 100,000 (subject to change)

   (Total fee is around 700,000 KRW. However, expenses such as accommodation, meals, and transportation will be covered by the school.)
